Reunited and it might feel oh-so-good. The Warriors are currently in talks with Chris Webber for what will probably be a one year contract. Sure, he's had micro-fracture surgery on both of his knees, but I think he could bring some more veteran presence and solid rebounding and excellent passing for a 5. When the playoffs come rolling around, he could be our savior. 

On the football side, there are currently rumors swirling that the 49ers and the Raiders are targeting two Chicago Bears. Lance Briggs to the 49ers, and Bernard Berrian to the Raiders. Honestly, I think the 49ers should be going for both of these players but just think about it... Defensive Rookie of the Year Patrick Willis teamed up with Lance Briggs and Manny Lawson? Probably the best linebacker trio in the league. The 49ers could really use an above average receiver like Berrian in order to create some deep ball threats (something Ashley Lelie was brought in to do but never did). 49ers rumors aside, Raider's owner Al Davis is attempting to force coach Lane Kiffin to retire. Sucks to be a Raiders fan right now because I thought Kiffin did a really good job with the team this past season.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

So the winter quarter has been officially upon me for one week. But I felt like I was still in winter break mode when I went back home this weekend. I guess its because I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays which makes me feel really good about myself. Not. While I sit away on Mondays watching two straight hours of Scrubs (excellent show btdubbbb) I think about how much time I'm going to be wasting procrastinating since five days out of seven, I don't have to do jack shit. Since today is Monday, I have jack shit to do, so I'm sitting here making a post while my roommate is snoring, taking a nap at 3:39PM. I would take a nap too, but I just feel way too guilty waking up five minutes before the sun sets. The whole point of this post (wow, I typed out essay at first instead of post, which goes to show that for some odd fucking reason, I am truly in school mode) was to just give you guys a glimpse of dorm life versus home life. I actually like my room better at school because I had the chance to organize it the way I wanted it to be where as back home I don't have that freedom because inside of every little asian woman's brain, she is an interior designer. But word to your mother. 

GOT MY VANS ON ... WAIT WHAT?

I'm sitting here 3AM talking to Ronnay when I was looking through the Vans Vault thing that he has on his blog (http://ladi-dadi-story.blogspot.com/) and I was just thinking damn, back in like elementary school and middle school, I'd be walking around in some expensive ass Nikes and Adidas and shit and when I saw a kid wearing some Vans I'd think to myself what a wonderful world I mean I thought to myself ... "damn, this dude must be having it good back at home if he is out here rocking Vans" (don't get mad, I was young and ignorant) and to just think... in a span of probably four years, Vans have blown up like madddd. You walk around town and you can easily spot 15-20 kids wearing Vans in all kinds of crazy ass colors and shit. I'd take a good educated guess and say that 93% of kids in high school own a pair of Vans. It's amazing how they are able to market to goth kids all the way to even the nerdy ones who still cop Vans because they're dirt cheap compared to Nikes and shit, even though the price on Vans has almost increased twofolds in the past four years. Just something that I thought about and wanted to jot down on the bloggity blog. Peacin out of Millbrae tomorrow but since I only have classes on tuesdays and thursdays, I should be back home tons. so for now, location swapped to santa cruz cuttys! latey

New year, fresh start, be true to yourself and have a good heart. Put away the bad, and maintain the new, digest all the drama and bond with your crew. 2007 was filled with a lot of firsts, but don't get crazy in 08' girls and start givin birth. Work hard in school to maintain the college ethic, but don't stay on academic probation, to your parents you be pathetic. To all the good and the bad and the shit I wish I had, props to Seth Rogen and his hit movie Superbad.

2007 was an eventful year for most of us. filled with graduation and inauguration in to the college life. its been good and hopefully it'll only get better. be true to yourself, be true to your peers, but remember, not too many beers.
